As we continue to learn more about the cause and effect of our collective presence on this beautiful planet, we are also more conscious of the fact that how we live is as important as where we live.
Greg received his BS in Art from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and began working with a company in St. Paul, MN building timber-frame homes from reclaimed timber salvaged from the bottom of Lake Superior. Before green was “green” he was using SIPs, ICFs and radiant in floor heat with on demand systems. This was just the beginning of his interest in a more holistic approach to home building and life in general. Upon moving to Seattle and while getting his Masters in Acupuncture he started a remodeling business called Constructive Elements with an emphasis on a more environmentally sustainable approach to design, deconstruction and re-construction. He has worked successfully as a real estate agent for over five years and loves guiding his clients rather than pushing. He is currently a member of the NW Ecobuilding Guild, is a certified Ecobroker and of course a licensed real estate agent in Washington.
Matt's interest in homes started at a very early age. Pounding some of his first nails before he was 10 he was lucky enough to learn many of his skills and gather his passion from doing, rather than watching. Matt has spent many years buying, remodeling and selling homes of his own. He has worked on homes in one way or another his whole life and it has been a natural, logical progression that has brought him to where he is today. Combine Matt's knowledge of how a home functions with his desire to make a real difference and you get GreenDwellingSeattle. Through active membership in such groups as the NW Ecobuilding Guild and as a certified Ecobroker, Matt hopes to explore the ways in which we can all realize the many benefits of living in a world that looks toward maintaining the future.
